Below are some of the doors’ descriptions that are highly recommended:

1.      Bypass doors – this kind of door is very easy to be installed, as it has fixed panels that can be hung side by side to each other. Sliding trails are required to be placed above and below the door frames and the panels will be sliding via only one direction, hence it is very easy and popular to use. Such bypass doors are often seen as closet doors or a separation mode to provide more space and privacy within a room. To install a bypass door is also relatively affordable as well and the installation process is simple.

2.      Pocket sliding doors – This kind of pocket sliding door is also convenient and popular among users. These doors can be hidden behind a wall and only consist of a single panel without any door hinges involved for installation. 3.      Sliding bi-fold doors – This kind of sliding door has two sides. The door will be able to slide to a side when opening and fold the other half to the other side. It is not as space-saving as pocket sliding or bypass doors, but it is another door type which can be installed easily as well.

4.      Patio sliding doors – Such doors are rarely seen in the eastern part of the globe, but popular in the western countries, as patio sliding doors are usually made of thick glass panels for people to enjoy a scenic outside view of their garden or decks. Though such doors are also convenient to be installed, the patio sliding door will require a certain carpentry skillset to ensure that the door is sturdy and the doorway for the patio sliding door can be easily modified.

5.      Shoji door – This door comes from the Japanese culture and is getting vastly popular in other parts of the world. The design of a Shoji door is very simple and the materials to make such doors can be found easily as well, like wood and paper. Despite its simplicity in design, shoji doors have their disadvantages as well, like such a door can be easily torn.
